Pumpkin Swirl Brownies

This weekend I finally made one of the recipes that I've been dying to try. They turned out amazing! I can't wait to make them again during fall.

Ingredients

-Filling:
1 package (3 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 cup canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
  1 egg
  3 tablespoons sugar
  1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

-Brownies:
  Betty Crocker Fudge Brownie Mix

Directions

Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom with shortening or cooking spray. In small bowl, beat all filling ingredients with electric mixer on low speed until smooth. Set aside.

Make brownie batter as directed on box. Spread half of the batter in pan. Spoon or slowly pour filling evenly over batter. Spoon or slowly pour remaining brownie batter over filling. Cut through batter several times with knife for marbled design.

Bake 30-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted 1 inch from side of pan comes out clean.

Enjoy!
